  32. Hmmm. The mail seems to be running about even on this one. I've had
  33. people tell me they've had exactly the same problem and used the same
  34. fix and people (like the above) tell me that svga.exe worked exactly
  35. as advertised on their system. Who can figure it?

  37. Let's just say that SVGA.EXE is inconsistent in its card
  38. identification. Users with what appear to be almost identical
  39. configurations are having very different results when they follow
  40. identical steps in installing high res video support. 
  41.  
  42. IBM's ET4000 support, while functional, hasn't proven (witness the incessant
  43. traffic on the subject) to be a paragon of driver support.
