- The NEC CDR-37 CDROM player can be used with an Adaptec 1542B (despite
- what NEC Tech Support will tell you, which is that it isn't on their
- compatability list). Once I set the "SCSI Parity disable" jumper on the
- Adaptec 1542B, it was able to recognize and control the CDR-37.

- Just thought I'd save someone else some frustation by posting this tidbit.

- Now, if only I knew what the side-effects of having SCSI parity disabled
- will be if I add a SCSI device which actually uses parity...
