- As I wrote in a previous post, there is a bug in the svga.exe program
- provided by IBM. It does not properly detect certain video cards (my
- experince is with the Diamond Speed Star ET4000 card) and the pmi file
- it creates does not permit OS/2 to run in any resolution higher than
- 640x480.

- The solution is to boot up to REAL DOS and run svga.exe there. The PMI
- file thus created will be correct and must be used in place of the one
- created by svga.exe under an OS/2 DOS session.
