- I have seen several posts from people seeing a SYS3176 error and
- last night it happened to me when I attempted to run Borland C++ 3.0
- for the first time under OS/2. The fix for my problem was to set
- DPMI_DOS_API to ENABLED, not Auto, in the DOS Settings...
- The help sys3176 command did not provide any clue that dpmi_dos_api
- needed to be ENABLED. My clue came from looking at the settings setup for
- Paradox 4.0. I remembered seeing something about this setting having to
- be enabled for some programs in some of the posts on the net.
