  12. Like most others, I can't stand waiting for seamless WIN-OS2 to start
  13. up an application.  So I tried the following with much success:

  15. Migrate the WIN-OS2 program manager (C:\OS2\MDOS\WINOS2\PROGMAN.EXE)
  16. to a WPS icon.  Run it.  Program manager pops up.  From there, you can
  17. launch Windows apps seamlessly and they load quickly, since WIN-OS2
  18. never terminates.  Program Manager can be minimized (as always) if you
  19. want to get it off the screen.
