- Your article didn't mention the type of the partion(s) you created.
- If you created a HPFS partition, then no, "real" DOS booted from a
- floppy won't recognize it; the disk's partition table will contain
- info to the effect that, "DOS, you don't do this kind of disk..."

- To illustrate, I have a single 240mb IDE drive with three partitions:
- c: hpfs
- d: hpfs
- e: fat

- When I boot DOS off a floppy, DOS sees only E: and of course names
- it C:. I believe this behavior is documented.

- As for being able to remove OS/2, a simple FDISK and (DOS) format
- does that just fine.
