  12. Yow.  I am having difficulty getting file transfer using Kermit on PM Term.
  13. The only way is to set the VMS system with the source file into SERVER mode
  14. and use the KERMIT SERVER profile in PM Term.  There are 2 problems:
  15.  
  16. (1)    Data transfer is slow (~512 bytes/sec using 9600 baud).
  17.  
  18. (2)    I can't send a 'BYE' message to the VMS system to get it out of
  19.     server mode and have to disconnect the session and relog in.
  20.  
  21. I vaguely recall reading a posting on how to get PM Term to do Kermit.  I
  22. think it mentioned handshaking or something along those lines.

  24. Any help will be appreciated.
