- Is it necessarily Ami Pro 3.0? I have just loaded 2.0 under Win-OS2
- and amn having a number of problems with it. Firstly the background it
- uses is white - which means that a white page doesn't show up too well
- against it; secondly if I am foolish enough to run it in seamless
- mode, when I close Ami Pro the desktop appears briefly, then vanishes,
- a totally white screen appears with nothing but the Ami Pro icon on
- it. The only thing I can do then is double-click on it, and use
- ctrl-ESC when it is up to switch to the desktop.
-
- Worst of all - and if I can't find the answer to this OS/2 may end up
- getting removed from my system - the printing is garbage. I have
- installed all my extra ATM fonts using OS/2's ATM control, I also did
- the same with ATM under full-screen Win-OS2 session. The appearance on
- the screen is not good, but just about acceptable, but when I print a
- page! I get mysterious extra blank spoace, as you describe, but the
- print size is way out and the characters themselves look as if they've
- been printed on a particularly bad 9-pin dot matrix printer. Oh, BTW,
- I'm using an HP IIP - not exactly an esoteric machine.
-
- Can anyone cast any light on this?
