  37. Give OZCIS a try (it's a freebie!).  It's a DOS application, but I've had no problems with it
  38. under 2.0.  It is located in the IBMCOMM forum, library 12 (I recall).

  40. I don't believe CIS supports compressing of conferences like the BBS systems do, but
  41. most of the CIS front-end programs (OZCIS, TAPCIS,...) do provide multiple passes.  The
  42. first pass just downloads the message headers, then you mark the ones you want
  43. offline, then the program retrieves the marked messages for you to read and reply
  44. offline.
