- I have a high-speed modem, which I keep locked at 38.4Kbps. I use ProComm
- Plus 2.0 for DOS, and I decided to try TE/2 to compare performance. I tried
- downloading a file using Zmodem. Using ProComm Plus, I got about 1360 cps,
- but using TE/2 (even when I set the DLPriority or whatever that setting is to
- TIMECRITICAL) I got tons of errors and an effective rate of 380 cps. Any
- ideas? I have no problem with using ProComm Plus - it's a great package. It
- would be nice to have a more exclusively OS/2 environment, and I would have
- expected an OS/2 comm. application to provide throughput similar to a DOS
- app., with a lighter load on the system. If you have any suggestions or
- comments, please e-mail me. Thanks in advance.
