  19. I don't know about the answer to your question, but on the subject of
  20. Mustek scanners, they have recently started selling a color hand scanner
  21. which I am interested in.  It is 18 bit color I think, and is shipped with
  22. DOS-based software, priced around $300.  It is bundled with Adobe "PICTURE",
  23. and looks like a pretty useful package.  I haven't heard anything (positive 
  24. or negative) about DOS software and hand scanners under OS/2, so I am reluct-
  25. ant to buy it.  Mustek does seem to be coming on strong in the marketplace, 
  26. so one might hope that they would have plans for supporting OS/2.  I'll give
  27. them a call soon, but in the meantime....

  30. Anyone got the skinny on this particular product's usefulness in the OS/2
  31. environment?  or else, can anyone generalize about DOS scanner behavior
  32. under OS/2?  Thanks, in advance.
