- I don't know about the answer to your question, but on the subject of
- Mustek scanners, they have recently started selling a color hand scanner
- which I am interested in. It is 18 bit color I think, and is shipped with
- DOS-based software, priced around $300. It is bundled with Adobe "PICTURE",
- and looks like a pretty useful package. I haven't heard anything (positive
- or negative) about DOS software and hand scanners under OS/2, so I am reluct-
- ant to buy it. Mustek does seem to be coming on strong in the marketplace,
- so one might hope that they would have plans for supporting OS/2. I'll give
- them a call soon, but in the meantime....

- Anyone got the skinny on this particular product's usefulness in the OS/2
- environment? or else, can anyone generalize about DOS scanner behavior
