- I've found a nice "kludge" to view Targa's and to greatly reduce their
- size while producing a better image than cshow. Using the JPEG 3
- compression program:
- cjpeg -Q 85 -o targa.tga jpeg.jpg
- djpeg -G jpeg.jpg gif.gif
- This produces a 256 color .GIF file and a small 24 bit JPEG file....
- The .GIF views MUCH better than the Targa.
- This uses all free, easy to use software...
