- I have a Speedstar 24x and it IS a pretty fast card for the money.
- However, there are other cards, such as the Paradise Windows Accel that
- is pretty much identical for a few bucks less. The 24x currently has a
- bug in its 256 color drivers that makes Winword 2.0 crash when accessing
- the Tools|Options menu. Their tech support staff was worthless, and they
- never returned my frequent voice-mail help requests. They are working on
- a fix for the driver, but no news yet (does anyone have any news?)
