- Does NT have a concept of an installable file system so that you can
- design your own alternatives to just NTFS, HPFS, FAT, etc.?
- Specifically, I'd be interested in a file system that transparently
- migrated information from disk to tape and/or optical, disk spanning,
- while maintaining the image of a single logical disk system to the user.
-
- What capabilities does NT support for installing a roll-your-own file
- system?
-
- Thanks,
