- The July SDK contained printed docs, for those that orderred them. The october
- update does not update the paper docs, only those online. The paper docs
- will be updated at final release, but trees are being preserved, since the
- API does not change enough to make re-prints worthwhile. With the october
- SDK, started and end-user beta, which is operating system only. Its the same
- code as in the october SDK, less the stuff that programmers need.
-
- My impression was that Canadian companies had now started receiving October
- updates, so I'd double check if I were you. I don't know about the state
- of updates in the rest of the world. Check with your local Microsoft
- subsiduary. There will always be a delay of a few weeks between US
- and abroad. Borders and tariffs and customs mean that the only way to
- achieve simultaneous delivery, is to artificially delay updates in the US,
- and we're not doing that
