  14. The July SDK contained printed docs, for those that orderred them. The october
  15. update does not update the paper docs, only those online. The paper docs
  16. will be updated at final release, but trees are being preserved, since the
  17. API does not change enough to make re-prints worthwhile. With the october
  18. SDK, started and end-user beta, which is operating system only. Its the same
  19. code as in the october SDK, less the stuff that programmers need.

  21. My impression was that Canadian companies had now started receiving October
  22. updates, so I'd double check if I were you. I don't know about the state
  23. of updates in the rest of the world. Check with your local Microsoft
  24. subsiduary. There will always be a delay of a few weeks between US
  25. and abroad. Borders and tariffs and customs mean that the only way to
  26. achieve simultaneous delivery, is to artificially delay updates in the US,
  27. and we're not doing that
