  12. Having installed all the relevant drivers from the CD and filled in all the
  13. blanks in the install dialog the tcp/ip and telnet services appears to start ok
  14. according to the services control panel applet but ping telnet etc just refuse to see anything including pinging oneself.

  16. In dos on the same machine FTP's PCTCP is working fine so the problem lies
  17. somewhere in the NT setup. After browsing through Compuserve there seem to
  18. be several folks with similar woes.
  19. Could someone who's got it working post a summary of what to check when
  20. setting up the TCP/IP service over token ring.
  21. This is definitely a must for the FAQ.
