- "Inside Windows NT" describes symbolic links in the object manager
- namespace but they don't seem to be surfaced via an API or at least
- not thru the file system namespace. Indeed "C:" is an symlink for
- a path name something like "\device\HardDisk0\..."

- I would also like to see this featured as then one could eliminate the
- need to deal with disk drive letters.

- Much more user friendly would be a feature akin to the DOS "join" or
- Unix "mount" command so that one needn't change his view of the world
- just because one had to add more disk space by adding another drive.
