- Hi there.Does anybody have any comments on the speed of Visual Basic
- version 1.0 or 2.0 ? Are the programs compiled by Visual Basic much
- slower than the FORTRAN or C programs?
-
- I am trying to write a program using Visual Basic to do some serious
- number crunching,e.g. sigular value decomposition of a large matrix.
- The memory problem can be partially solved using the Windows enviroment
- but the speed right now is the major concern.
-
- If somebody has some experience with this problem, can you drop me a line?
- By the way,can the Dynamic Link Library files created using FORTRAN or
- C compilers increase the speed?
-
- Thanks in advance.
