- I haven't used Fontographer so I can't say what it's doing. I think TrueType
- fonts are hinted so that at small sizes it uses the hinting to produce an
- acceptable font. Perhaps Fontographer has removed the hinting. Assuming
- that you have a legit copy of Fontographer you might want to contact the
- manufacturer to ask them. You might also want to check to see if there's
- some option that specifies whether hinting is to be used/preserved.
