  12. I have three questions regarding programming my video card:

  14. 1)  Is there a standard way to detect if the graphics card used in a system
  15.     can work in SVGA mode?
  16. 2)  For my application, i need the 800x600x256 SVGA mode. 
  17.     Switching to SVGA mode 800x600x256, is this the same for all video cards 
  18.     (Trident, Tseng, ATi) or do i need special code for each of them? If there
  19.     is a difference, please give me information on how to set this mode.
  20.     (I have an ATi-Wonder XL card my self)
  21. 3)  I know that a have to use bank switching to fill the video memory.
  22.     What register addresses are used for this on an ATi-Wonder card?
