- I am running DOS 5.0 on a 386DX33.

- Was working in an application program when was forced to warm boot. After
- doing so, I got messages that "first allocation unit is invalid, entry
- truncated" for the file I was working with. The bak file came back as "cross
- linked on allocation unit 6087" Anyone know what this is all about? Can I
- recover these files? They seem to be on the hard drive in their proper
- subdirectories, but I am unable to open or access them - the system just
- freezes up. Any helps appreciated...
