- I'm doing a project which involves programming the parallel port on a
- PC. Can someone direct me to reference books about this subject? The
- information I need is

- 1) How to write data to the parallel port
- 2) How to READ data from the 8 parallel port data pins (I heard it is
- possible to do so on ATs and most clones?)
- 3) How to access the control signals (ACK, etc.)
