  13. I normally do not frequent this news group (so please reply via email, and
  14. I will post the followup) but I have been looking for the specs for the
  15. Microsoft and Mouse Systems serial IO.  I am currently trying to write a
  16. graphics editor that can use either the mouse or the cursor keys to draw
  17. lines with the following features:

  19.     Rubber-banding
  20.     Snapping to a grid
  21.     Automatic panning
  22.  
  23. I have done some testing and found that the handler function needs to control
  24. the system for too long, so I am needing to handle the mouse directly.  If 
  25. anyone has the specs for the IO stream for either Microsoft and/or Mouse 
  26. Systems mice (both or latter preferred), I would greatly appreciate it.

  28. Also, if I am trying to re-invent the wheel and there is source for this 
  29. available, please let me know...
