- Hello,
- I normally do not frequent this news group (so please reply via email, and
- I will post the followup) but I have been looking for the specs for the
- Microsoft and Mouse Systems serial IO. I am currently trying to write a
- graphics editor that can use either the mouse or the cursor keys to draw
- lines with the following features:
-
- Rubber-banding
- Snapping to a grid
- Automatic panning
-
- I have done some testing and found that the handler function needs to control
- the system for too long, so I am needing to handle the mouse directly. If
- anyone has the specs for the IO stream for either Microsoft and/or Mouse
- Systems mice (both or latter preferred), I would greatly appreciate it.
-
- Also, if I am trying to re-invent the wheel and there is source for this
- available, please let me know...
-
- advTHANKaTHANKnce
