  18. Hi back!  No limit, but please note that the FAT file system
  19. was not designed for huge directories.  For example, every time
  20. you create a new file (or subdirectory, but we know subdirectories
  21. are just files with a special attribute in a special format, right?) 
  22. MS-DOS does a sequential search to confirm that no file of that 
  23. name already exists.  Naturally if you get above a few thousand 
  24. files....
