- Hi back! No limit, but please note that the FAT file system
- was not designed for huge directories. For example, every time
- you create a new file (or subdirectory, but we know subdirectories
- are just files with a special attribute in a special format, right?)
- MS-DOS does a sequential search to confirm that no file of that
- name already exists. Naturally if you get above a few thousand
- files....
