- The number of files in the root directory is limited in ALL
- disk-formats under DOS. There is no limit to the number of files that
- can reside in sub-directories.

- The limit is for 360k floppys 112 entries, and for most harddisk 512
- entries. For both systems you can lay unlimited number of files if you
- use subdirectory (limited by disk-space of course). The FAT doesn't
- have any limit in that regard.
