  10. I'm trying to install a Microscience 1090 disk on my 386 with AMI bios.
  11. The problem is that the disk has 1300+ cylinders. Disk type 47 in the bios
  12. seems to work ok, it even lowlevelformats all cylinders.
  13.  
  14. But both Fdisk and Format refuse to give me more than 1024 cylinders
  15. (60 Mb instead of 76 something). Is Dos5 really limited to 1024 cyls. or
  16. am I missing something. Pctools SI program reports 1024 cylinders on
  17. Physical Details. I have also tried using Drivparm to no avail.
