  13. Due to the problems that people have been having with compiling the
  14. XV distribution from tsx-11 and other sites, I have uploaded the
  15. binaries to tsx-11. The file is called xv2.21bin.tar.Z, and was
  16. placed in the incoming directory late Monday evening. I compiled
  17. in full support for both TIFF and JPEG, and used version 4.1 of
  18. the GCC jumptables. If you haven't yet downloaded these libraries,
  19. you should do so. They are available on many of the major Linux
  20. distribution sites.
