- I won't, but I'll tell you how you can get them yourself.
-
- 1. Check the newsgroup news.answers: the FAQ may still be there, even
- if it has expired from c.o.l
-
- 2. If you have FTP, take a look at pit-manager.mit.edu. Everything
- posted to news.answers (including the Linux FAQ) is archived
- there.
-
- 3. If you cannot FTP, try the mailserver at pit-manager. Start by
- sending a mail with the word "help" in the subject line to
- mail-server@pit-manager.mit.edu.
-
- 4. If all else fails, either post a request in c.o.l or preferably
- mail one to somebody who posts often in c.o.l and seems to be a
- good guy (that fool who does the Meta-FAQ and a few other things
- might be a good target, even if he isn't that much of a good guy).
- If you post, ask people to send you mail if they are willing to
- send the FAQ to you, don't ask them to just send it right away,
- since it is rather big (150 kB) and you might not appreciate
- getting a dozen or two copies. Or at least you sysadmin might not
- like it.
