  26. Hi.  I just got Xega, and when I try to run it, I get:
  27. failed to set default font path '/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc'
  28. Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed'
  29.  
  30. I went into /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc and typed mkfontdir and that
  31. doesn't help.
  32.  btw:  all files except fonts.alias and fonts.dir are compressed in
  33. this dir.  I had Xmono running without problems before this.
  34. Also /usr/lib/X11 is linked to /usr/X386/lib/X11
