- I'm having problems uncompressing some files from tsx-11. For
- instance, pub/linux/sources/sbin/ps-0.97.tar.Z refuses to work. If I try tar
- with -z -x, I get:
- tar: skipping to next file header.
- tar: child died with signal 11 (core dumped)

- It does create the appropriate subdir, and 1 file, but the file is
- about 10 lines of code followed by a few pages of garbage.

- If I simply try to uncompress it, uncompress complains about a
- segmentation fault, and I get a very small file created, and a core dump.

- Is this something I'm doing? or is there something wrong with this
- file?
