- LILO is the successor of Shoelace, so you should use LILO.

- If you already have an active DOS partition, you can also use the
- BOOTLIN.COM/BOOT.SYS combo. It has the advantage that the boot-sector does not
- have to be changed. BOOT.SYS lets you choose between different CONFIG.SYS startup
- files, BOOTLIN.COM boots Linux from a DOS Image file. It works great!
