  10. I've just pulled down thursday night, the latest SLS distribution.  I went
  11. to install, and noticed that LILO version 5 is included now.  After doing
  12. a complete new installation (losing my version 6 LILO files), I was able
  13. to boot with the updated 0.98.p5 set.
  14.  
  15. However, after I tried to use the included LILO package, I found that I
  16. could not boot into linux; had some problem with getting to the superblock.
  17. I was however able to reboot and make the msdos selection within LILO.
  18.  
  19. I'm going to pull another copy of the LILO 6.0 package today to see if
  20. it will work successfully.

  24. p.s.  why doesn't someone change the /etc/motd file to the latest rev
  25. of the os?  it's still saying .96. in it...?
