- Hy,
-
- I have problems to get Linux accept my SCSI-Disk. Partitioning with
- pfdisk worked well, but mkefs -c /dev/hda2 405504 brings me:
- "mkefs: bad blocks before data-area: cannot make fs"
-
- Has anyone a tip how to get the following configuration work:
- -Fujitsu M2624F-512
- -Adaptec 1542B
- -SLS .98p5
- -Linux should be on the 2.nd Partition
-
- Is my problem the jumper setting on the Adaptec. I use the synchronous mode
- and SCSI-II (for fun) jumpered.
-
- Thanks to everyone in advance ..... Alex Keiblinger
