  17. I have problems to get Linux accept my SCSI-Disk. Partitioning with
  18. pfdisk worked well, but mkefs -c /dev/hda2 405504 brings me:
  19. "mkefs: bad blocks before data-area: cannot make fs"
  20.  
  21. Has anyone a tip how to get the following configuration work:
  22. -Fujitsu M2624F-512
  23. -Adaptec 1542B
  24. -SLS .98p5
  25. -Linux should be on the 2.nd Partition
  26.  
  27. Is my problem the jumper setting on the Adaptec. I use the synchronous mode
  28. and SCSI-II (for fun) jumpered.
