- I have finally gotten around to upgrading, and I am now running the
- .98pl5 SLS. (Coming from .96c) After reading my XConfig
- as
- I was so stupid as to not save quite everything as far as config files
- from the previous version..
-
- Anyway, that went ok, and I am now running 1024x768x256 on XWindows
- without any problems. (ET4000).
-
- The problems I have been having concern compiling source code of
- two programs to work with my SLS upgrade.
-
- The two sources are xv and xload. For xv, I do exactly what it says
- in the README file, and it looks like it is going to work, except
- at the end of the compilation it gets three errors about a variable being
- defined too many times. XLOAD seems to get this same problem only
- closer to the beginning.
-
- I have compiled many things successfully so far, including SEYON (awesome)
- and TERM077, so the compiler seems to be working...
-
- Anyone else have any of these problems or get either of these to
- compile under pl5?? Please let me know.
-
- Thanks
-
- Jim
