  11. I have finally gotten around to upgrading, and I am now running the
  12. .98pl5 SLS.  (Coming from .96c) After reading my XConfig
  13. as
  14. I  was so stupid as to not save quite everything as far as config files
  15. from the previous version..

  17. Anyway, that went ok, and I am now running 1024x768x256 on XWindows
  18. without any problems.  (ET4000).

  20. The problems I have been having concern compiling source code of
  21. two programs to work with my SLS upgrade.

  23. The two sources are xv and xload.  For xv, I do exactly what it says
  24. in the README file, and it looks like it is going to work, except
  25. at the end of the compilation it gets three errors about a variable being
  26. defined too many times.  XLOAD seems to get this same problem only
  27. closer to the beginning.

  29. I have compiled many things successfully so far, including SEYON (awesome)
  30. and TERM077, so the compiler seems to be working...
  31.  
  32. Anyone else have any of these problems or get either of these to
  33. compile under pl5??  Please let me know.
