  14.   Hello all. I would just like to jump into this thread to say that I agree
  15. completely that we need a good word processor.  Once we have this, Linux will
  16. be a practical system for a variety of people.
  17.    I have a suggestion.  Why don't we use doc. Doc is a WYSIWYG document
  18. editor. It comes as part of InterViews.  I have been trying to fix some bugs
  19. in it for quite a while, but an older version is available at tsx-11 and
  20. sunsite.

  27. BTW InterViews is a object oriented (C++) environment for X windows that
  28. supports a variety of kits like Motif, and Open-look.  It has a few
  29. applications that come with it as examples of its capabilities. Doc is one
  30. such package. There is also idraw (graphics) and ibuild (X app builder).
