- Then OS/2 is going to have a hard time. OS/2 requires a "Shutdown"
- command. There are two things that do help the situation, though:

- 1. OS/2 automatically syncs the filesystem on Ctrl-Alt-Del, before
- rebooting the machine. It is not a complete shutdown, as I don't
- think it saves your desktop, but it avoids FS corruption.

- 2. CHKDSK (a.k.a fsck) is executed automatically at boot time if a
- filesystem is marked "mounted", i.e. not demounted properly.

- And yes, I use OS/2 when I don't use Linux. Makes Windows look like
- shit (which it basically is).
