  19. Taylor-gamma 1.04 is getting pretty stable, and I've been running elm-2.4pl3
  20. for a while with no problems, so I think it's getting near time for a mailpak
  21. 1.4 release.  It might be a good idea to merge newspak and mailpak, because it
  22. doesn't make much sense to upload mailpak with smail in it if Vince is going
  23. to supply it.  I've downloaded the latest newspak, and so will work on
  24. configuring elm to work with Vince's smail.  Mailpak 1.4 will only contain
  25. Taylor-uucp 1.04 (final if it's ready soon, else the gamma release), elm2.4p3,
  26. and uustatus 1.3.

  28. Since mailpak *is* rather big, I will also be posting an abbreviated version,
  29. containing uustatus 1.3, patches for taylor-uucp gamma 1.04, and patches for
  30. elm 2.4 pl3 for those who already have those versions.  I also forsee splitting
  31. up mailpak into separate directories for each "product", so that folks who
  32. just want the elm upgrade or uucp can just get those pieces.
