  10. I've just installed LILO on my sls ( 0.98.1 ) system.  It looks good, but
  11. I'm slightly confused by what the docs say...
  12.  
  13. Is LILO supposed to allow me to switch between different partitions on
  14. the same disk?  I've went with the defaulted /etc/lilo/install file, since
  15. I have linux on my /dev/hda2 partition, and ms-dos 5.0 on the first partition.
  16. Yet, when I try to reboot...the system comes up immediately into Linux.

  18. When I try to use activate with the following line, nothing seems to
  19. change:

  21. /etc/lilo/activate /dev/hda 1
  22.  
  23. I still boot in linux.  I am going to try downloading the pfdisk.tar.Z
  24. file to see if BOOTACTI will allow switching to occur.
