- I have the problem of being a) pretty new to the linux environment
- and
- b) Xwindows doesent want to run in colour
- for me

- What seems to be ahppening is that the bitmap is getting either
- corrupted or that the bits are being placed in the wrong positions.
- The cursor and all the screen is as if they had been "meshed" is the
- only way i can describe it. They appear as fuzzy images rather than
- clear. This problem does not occur in mono but xv is very fuzzy.
- Could anyone offer some sugestions on what it is that i need do in order
- to fix this problem
