- FYI, almost all FAQs are available also in the newsgroup news.answers,
- and on ftp sites that archive it. There are even ftp sites that have
- mailservers so that you can get FAQs even without ftp. For example,
- send a mail message with the word "help" in it to
- mail-server@pit-manager.mit.edu to get started with that one.

-
- There are some answers sketched out in a hard-to-find (it's only
- posted every Monday, after all) article with the subject line
-
- Subject: META-FAQ: Linux sources of information
-
- but I guess those answers are so bad that nobody is interested in
- them.

-
- Yup. In the article with the subject line
-
- Subject: Linux INFO-SHEET
-
- there is a shortish list of features. (Short answer: it's pretty damn
- close to Unix, with all important features available, although a
- couple of them don't work that well, e.g. networking, but will
- probably work pretty soon, given the pace of Linux development.)
-

-
- There is an inadequate list in the INFO-SHEET (I'd very much like to
- get some feedback on it, especially additions and corrections).
- Multi-port serial boards are supported, at least some of them.
