- if people aren't able (or willing) to learn it, it is NOT the best thing
- since anything. It's just another overly complicated solution to a
- problem that few people have.

- look at 'vi' for example. It *does* do what it was intended to do.
- it's a pretty snappy editor that can do great things if you bleed enough
- to learn it.

- but people want things like the MSDOS editor 'qedit' where you can
- just get in there and type away...so 'vi' can't be considered to be
- the definitive joe-user editor, because invariably joe-user hates it.
- They just use it because it's the only editor on just about all unixes
- as delivered from the vendor.

- I just upgraded to Quicken-for-Windows v2.0 and it's so darn great I'll
- never get rid of DOS...anybody got a Quicken-for-X11R5 ???
