  16. I found that a cable I was using caused my serial connection between

  18. on linux and Kermit on a MS-DOS PC.

  20. The cable worked fine w/0.98pl1 not with pl2-pl5.

  22. I believe it is pin 4, old cable was 2-3, 3-2, 4-4, 6-20 and 7-7.
  23. New cable is 2-3, 3-2 and 7-7 and works fine.

  25. Kermit still worked find hooked to a modem (0.98pl1-pl5), it was the
