- I've uploaded complete ports of inetd, named, hostcvt and ping
- to sunsite.unc.edu (tsx-11 has had some disk space problems.)
- Everything except hostcvt is a all full port which uses a resonable
- library and include diffs so you can compile them for yourself. Named
- includes nsquery and nslookup as well as the named and named-xfer.
-
- Ping requires all 3 tcp patches to 0.98pl5 (also at sunsite) and
- must be suid root. Hostcvt is a program which helps set up the named
- configuration files (It doesn't do it for you, but it is useful.)
- Sources are availabe from your local comp.sources.unix archive, and
- compile without much difficulty.

- P.S. The tcp patches should be in the next kernel release.
