- Here is the deal, short and sweet:
-
-
- SLS base A1-A5 .98pl5 from sunsite on 11/18/92
-
- A3 message:
-
- Could not link usr/bin/rootdev to bin/rdev
-
- A5 message:
-
- installing zafix... chmod: dev: no such file or dir.
- mknod: dev/ttys0 ...stuff no such file or dir.
- chmod:
- chown:
- "stuff deleted"
-
-
- basically it looks like the base system does not install /dev so even
- though the install runs to completion, when I reboot since there are
- no /dev/tt* files none of the consoles work so I get a blank screen
- with occasional drive activity??
