  10. Hello! :) I have a few questions I can't seem to find answers to. I was
  11. wondering if you all could help me.

  13. (a) Where can I find a compiled version of .95-pl5? I'm running pl-1 and,
  14. well, would like to upgrade, even though I just installed it last night. I
  15. don't however wanna fiddle with souce code, as it's a pain in the butt *grin*
  16. and (b) more important, I don't have a compiler installed yet.

  18. (b) What version of GCC should I get, and from where? There's so many just
  19. floating around, I'm clueless (although this is my usual state, mostly).

  21. (c) What do you reccomend by way of utilities, tools, and binaries in
  22. general (including games ;). I would like to get Moria, I have it for DOS, 
  23. would like to compare.

  25. (d) Where does one untar these things? And where does one place them? I'm
  26. fairly new to *nix's from the setup end, and well, the file structure con-
  27. founds me. I really don't know what to put where. And what dirs are executable
  28. dirs. (I know all bins are, but is that it?).

  31. On the whole, Linux looks very nice, and seems to have very good support!
  32. I wish it and everyone associated well... just HELP! ;) All I'm running 
  33. right now is the rootdisk, and booting off floppy as trying to install
  34. lilo without a clue seems foolhardy. Thanks again!
