  12. I hope this is not a stupid question.  I would like to know how to
  13. generate shared libraries for dynamic linking.  I want to do this 
  14. because I have a few programs linked with a large traditional library
  15. (libtiff.a).  I hope that recompiling it to a shared library can save
  16. me a lot of space.  Thanks in advance.
