  11. Thanks everyone who replied to my message on a good configuration for a
  12. Linux box.  Just for those who asked me to tell them what I settled on
  13. after gathering all information, here it is:

  15. I'm getting a Gateway 2000 486DX/2-66, 8MB RAM, EISA, with the Adaptec
  16. 1742B SCSI controller, ATI Pro and 600MB hard drive.
