  10. Ok thanks to one out of many experts who told me what i was doing wrong
  11. i last night compiled 0.98p4 with out problem
  12. and patched the qic-02 tape drive code in as well all works great.

  14. seems that this code is different lay out in its dir tree than that of the
  15. SLS release.. once this was corrected all compiled..
  16. my problem was my compiler was seeing the include/linux and include/asm
  17. from the SLS 0.98p1 and not the /usr/src/linux/include/linux  + asm
  18. the readme in the src pack is wrong, or i woild not have spent 1 week
  19. trying the inpossible.
