  13.     Based on the recommendations of a friend...I'm getting
  14. intrigued with Linux.  I'm currently running a Public Access site on
  15. ISC SVR3.2 (the old version) and it is a bare bones thing.  No
  16. X-windows, no TCP/IP.  I was considering upgrading to SysVR4 (ESIX),
  17. but Linux has an advantage over it...it is free...which would be great
  18. if it supported things and was reliable.

  20.     So...what I would like to know is...is it something that me
  21. and my users could rely on?

  23.     1) will it support an AST 4Port board?
  24.     2) how is the ESDI support?

  26.     Basically...what can I expect or not expect from Linux?
