  11. Hello,
  12. when I try to start a telnet session I get the error message:
  13.    telnet: tcp/telnet unknown service
  14. I get the same error if I try to do telnet loopback ,
  15. which as I understood should also work without any ethernet hardware
  16. I have 0.98 pl1 installed and my ethernet board configured to the
  17. parameters described in the ethernet FAQ.
  18. During boot procedure the card is found.
